Is Engineering Art?
Like artists, engineers leave an aesthetic trail of ideas cleaved and evolving through sketches, complex drawings, models, and mockups.

It is surely a creative and/or innovative process. Artists are concerned with truth and beauty. Software engineers are constrained by syntax. I think constraints are part of artistic creation. Every form of art imposes its own constraints and its own “syntax.” In some cases, artists struggle with more difficult constraints.
At a high level of abstraction and creation, the differences between artists and engineers blur. Both rely on a singular need and crave the ability to enjoy the process of creation for its own sake.
A binary string has no meaning outside of the rules given to interpret that string. Or at least it seems.

aboutTheArtist
I started oil painting classes when I was 7, but graphic and interior design has been my professional focus through the years. It’s been rewarding to combine all my artistic passions into this pathway.
My abstract art is painted omnidirectional to offer more interior design options. I aspire to paint pieces that allow your mind to wander.
As you go through the process of deciphering representation of my compositions, open your mind and let the art take you where it will. Mary
