Unstretched Canvas Mounting Idea |

This is a great way to hang a canvas that is rolled or hasn’t been stretched on a frame!

I set out to find a beautiful way to hang rolled art without a frame. I had seen it done with grommets, but not held out from the wall to give it depth. Using the painted wooden ball spacers (in front and behind the rolled canvas) -plus a long screw, it did the trick!

It’s a great way to hang your unstretched canvas art, especially if you don’t care for the tapestry look which dangles. By putting grommets and spacers in all four corners of the canvas, I got away from the wall tapestry look.

aboutTheArtist

I started oil painting classes when I was 7, but graphic and interior design has been my professional focus through the years. It’s been rewarding to combine all my artistic passions into this pathway.

My abstract art is painted omnidirectional to offer more interior design options. I aspire to paint pieces with meaning you can experience, strong graphic elements that draw you in from afar, and white space that allows your mind to breathe.

Thank you in advance for supporting my art through your comments and/or purchases. Mary
